The Grooms Guide
All About the Groom
It's about a 50/50 chance a groom wants those " getting ready" photos done. And that's OK, we've got you covered. There's a few options to think about.
Typically your second Photographer is the one who has this task. So when scheduling your time arrivals on your wedding day Q&A remember these options and find the best one for your needs.
Option 1 - Schedule a good 30-45min for the groom that doesn't mind photos or hes actually a camera ham and has been dreaming out having his photo shoot. This option works best for the couple that is exchanging gifts or cards beforehand and you would like it captured. And remember if you have a video staff both vendors should be present for this moment. This option also allows us to get a few moments when finishing up dressing. No need to start from the under roos yup I said that. The guys are typically mostly dressed when we arrive. we are looking mostly for the tie, buttoning top button, cuff links and shoes and any matching socks make for a fun photo. after those moments you can take advantage of any extra time and do a group photo and photos with the groom and each groomsman separately.
Option 2 - The second photographer can meet the groom at the starting location about 20 early. Either it be the first look, the church or venue for onsite ceremonies. This is when we will do a "fake" redo of the details of cuffs and fixing tie. This is usually when boutonnieres are being done also. Perfect time for some pinning photos.
Option 3 - The groom is super shy or pretty much just not that into us. We will be sneaky and do the best we can.
